The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region organized the regional forum on European territorial cooperation on May 27th, 2026, at the Hotel de la Région in Bordeaux.
The event provided an opportunity to present various calls for transnational cooperation projects and to share feedback on past and ongoing projects. Sixteen show-spaces were set up alongside the in-hall discussions to showcase 16 transnational projects across four different topics, including water and the environment.

The Interreg Atlantic Area Rivers-REST project was allocated one of the 16 shows-spaces to promote its work.
Alain Rousset, President of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, spoke at the forum and visited the shown transnational project.
All stakeholders present agreed that it is essential to maintain these financial mechanisms managed by the various regions of Europe, which support cross-border cooperation, a key factor in the continued advancement of European integration and economic development.
